BREEDING CATTLE SALESRANGE BULLS Antelope Valley Ranch sells yearling bulls and females at private treaty. We value our bulls according to what they will do for you. Most of our range bulls are priced from $2,000 to $4,000. As with anything, quality determines the price. Antelope Valley Ranch will help you select the bulls that will work best in your cowherd depending on what your personal goals are for your cow enterprise. We have sons of the best sires in the Angus breed and can match their strengths with your cowherd's weaknesses. We, as you, are in the business of producing a perishable product. The packer and then the consumer ultimately determine what they want and are willing to pay for. Packers tell us they do not want a 1600 to 2000 pound frame score 7 steer. You will not find those kinds of steers at Antelope Valley Ranch. What packers do want is a 1200-pound steer that will hang an 800-pound carcass. We produce a product in demand by the packer and end consumer. When you buy our bulls you can expect a fast gaining calf that produces a good carcass at an acceptable weight. HERD BULLS Occasionally we will have herd bulls that will strengthen any Registered Black Angus breeding program. Look at our donor cows and their EPD's on the Female Page, and imagine them bred to a sire of your choice. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities. HEIFERS We have heifers available as yearlings and two year old bred heifers. Call us and let us know what your needs are. GUARANTEE Our bulls are guaranteed to be fertile and reproductively sound in accordance with the rules and regulations recommended by the American Angus Association. All bulls are guaranteed breeders. Breeding status is guaranteed on the females. AI certificates on any unborn calves purchased in dam will be the responsibility of the buyer. HEALTH All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for shipment and have had a complete vaccination program.
